I will be hitting the saddle for a 200 mile bike ride from Newcastle to Edinburgh to help raise funds for the Trust where I work - Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology.

I will be teaming up with my school friend, Paul McSparron, for the 'coast and castles' cycling route. The journey will start on Saturday 11th October and finish on Monday 13th October.

Every year the Centre gets an enormous amount of support from patients, their families and the public. Since I started working at the Centre I have been overwhelmed by the support and I too want to play a part in this. I've always wanted to do the 'coast and castles' cycling route so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to help raise funds for the Centre.
