Story

Hey everyone,

To raise money for Cancer Research UK I have entered 3 events this year, so by sponsoring me you are getting three for the price of one and can be satisfied that your sponsorship is going to equal as much pain for me as possible ;)

1. September 27th - Run to the Beat Half Marathon - I will be running 13.1 miles with 'Team Scamp' in this event, which starts and finishes at the O2 Arena in London.

2. October 17th - GRIM Duathlon - Just under 3 weeks later I will be taking part in a duathlon at Aldershot's tank tracks, this will be a muddy and extremely hilly 5k run followed by 20k cycling and topped off with another 5k run.

3. December 5th - Grim Challenge - 8 miles of ice cold water, mud, and going under camo nets.

Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer either directly or indirectly, unfortunately at the moment a very close friend of mine - Cara (A.K.A. Scamp) is going through tough chemotherapy for a rare bone cancer, with this and my Dad going through it a couple of years ago it has brought it all too close to home.

UPDATE:
2 Races down and one to go, going to nail the last race for my bro who sadly has just been diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma cancer and I'm so proud of how he is handling it.

Please sponsor me no matter how little, every penny counts!
