Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

It is that time of year again when I take part in the Mills & Reeve Charity Challenge. This year the event is a race between the Dark Peak team (walkers) and the White Peak team (cyclists). This sounds on the face of it unfair, but trust me it is not! The Dark Peak team will be covering a distance of 20 miles and the White Peak team will be covering a distance of 75 miles in the Peak District. Both routes will be very hilly and very demanding. The team with the best average time wins, once and for all answering the question 'What is better walking or cycling?'

To make this challenge more onerous I am organising the event with a fellow colleague and I will be leading the cycling team around the 75 mile route. It will be my responsibility to make sure everyone finishes and that the White Peak team finishes before the Dark Peak team.

Whether you prefer cycling or walking, I would ask you to help me reach my fundraising target as this will benefit many people. Cyclists Fighting Cancer is a charity which I truly believe in. I not only believe cycling to be a great way to spend your time, but can help people who have been affected by cancer.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks

David
