For those of you that don't know, me and my Dad have wanted to do the London Marathon for a long time and said that we would always do it together after I was 18. I'm now 23 and every year that we have tried to do it has resulted in rejection.

Unfortunatly my Dad was this year Diagnosed with having Motor Neurone Disease and will now be unable to run it with me. It is with this in mind that i have decided to run it for us both through the Motor Neurone Association.

I have less than 3 months to raise a minimum of £1500, whilst training my turkey filled gut to run 26 miles. So any help you could offer in the way of Sponsorship would be most appreciated. Oh and i'm sorry about the cheesy picture, as soon as I find a better one i'll use that.

Update 27 Jan 09 - £1500 target reached !!!!!!!!! A massive thanks to everyone that has donated so far. After only 3 weeks of fundraising I have reached the £1500 minimum i need to secure my place on the marathon. Looks like i'm not getting out of it now!!! I've now updated the page with a new target so lets see how far we can get.

Update 05 Mar 09 - £3500 target reached !!!!! This is amazing, another huge thanks to everyone that has sponsored me. I have set myself a new target to reach by the run. Training is going well so far and hopefully i'll manage to get round the course without too many difficulties on 26 Apr.

Update 30 Mar 09 - £4000 target reached !!!! Another huge huge thanks to all those that have sponsored me so far. Sponsorship has gone far beyond my expectations so i've set my final target before the big day of £5000.  The Wilmslow Half Marathon went well so hopefully I wont have too much trouble doubling the distance on the 26th?!

I DID IT!!!!!! After 4 Hrs and 16 minutes hard running I completed to London Marathon 2009. One final huge thanks to everyone that has supported and sponsored me over the last few months and made this possible.
