I'm running for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust because I did a placement in a CF ward last year, where it became obvious that this is one of the cruelest (most cruel?!) genetic illnesses, affecting and cutting short every single part of the sufferer's life, often in their  late teens or early twenties, when they should be having the time of their lives.
