We relieve poverty and advance education to give children the best start in life

Story

On 1st-2nd June 2010 I will be attempting to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge - climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon (and travelling between them) in just 24 hours!

This is in aid of the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys - the Masonic Province of Worcestershire is aiming to raise at least £1 million by June 2011 to support the fantastic work of this children's charity.

(No doubt most of you will be wondering why on earth I agreed to take on such a demanding physical challenge when I am not the most athletically-inclined of people. Firstly, it just goes to show how important the RMTGB is. Secondly, I was at the Bewdley Beer Festival when I agreed and as such was not quite in possession of my full critical faculties!)

Please, please, please dig as deep as you possibly can. Thank you for making my efforts all worthwhile - and thank you most of all for supporting the children.

Update - 17th May: Thanks to the generosity of everyone who has sponsored me so far, I have revised the target I would like to achieve - please help me to reach it!
