Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. At the end of August 2007 I am spending 18 days trekking in the mighty Karakoram mountain range in northern Pakistan. The climax of the trek will be reaching K2 Base Camp at 5000m and going over the Ghondoghoro mountain pass at 5650m.
The trek will be phyiscally and mentally demanding and will test my determination and stamina to the limit. I will though be putting my body through hell to raise money for a fantastic cause. Sense International is the only international charity that helps deaf and blind children in developing countries. These children live in an isolated world and are often rejected by their own community. Raising money for Sense International will help them to provide more support to these disadvantaged and lonely children.
Please can I ask you to dig deep and sponsor me online for as much money as you can give. With your sponsorship we can make a real difference to the lives of these children.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sense International will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
