Fundraising for Challenge 4 Change
Story
Now doing another 2 challenges...... Mount Toubkal this October and Mount Everest base camp to add on to the list for next year!
For those of you who know my story and background a few years ago the words ‘You still have a mountain to climb and try not fall along the way’ were said and stuck with me.
This is quite relevant to the job role I’m in today. So I’m going to do just that and have my safety rope backing me up the whole way
Over this year and next I’ll be taken on a series of challenges and climbs starting this year with:
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge Pen-Y-Chest (691m) Whernside (728m) Ingleborough (723m) in the next few months. DATE: 4th June 2016

Then onto the National Three Peak 24Hr Challenge tackling Snowden Wales (1085m) Scafell Pike England (978m) and Ben Nevis Scotland (1344m) all in 24hr time. DATE: weekend of the 19th August 2016
I’ll then be in training and heading to climb Mount Toubkal North Africa (4167m) visible from the city of Marrakech. DATE: October 2016
Off to Mount Toubkal again May 2017
When we have concord Mount Toubkal we don’t want to stop there so we will head to climb Mont Blanc Alps (4808.73m) or ‘Monte Bianco known as the ‘White Mountain’ the highest in the Alps and highest Peak in Europe. Sep-Oct 2017 Date TBC
I and fellow friend/ colleague Innes MacDonald will be doing all of the above and more in-between. I’ll keep everyone updated :)
I’m doing all of the above as an all-round sponsorship to raise funds for C4C. Changing lives and giving people a second chance in life, raising self-awareness, self-confidence, reducing offending, stopping gang culture, working with disadvantaged children and young adults, the only high ropes centre in the country that will take people with certain disabilities in for a play because we believe everyone should get stuck in and have a go!
We work with many other groups and organisations and I’ll more than happy to send any information out if you would like to know more.
