WSDCS has been amazing for our family. They have provided us with love, and kindness  enabling us to support Arran with his sudden loss of hearing when he was 5. To learn that our child was deaf was a massive shock to all the family and we really didn't know where to turn to for help or how to make sense of it all. We wanted to support Arran but needed support ourselves as parents and siblings. We found WSDCS online and joined an initial meet up at Soft play and from that day forward we have felt fully embraced by the amazing staff, families and their children. The team members are absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond for families and the level of fun, commitment and love shines through the staff and ambassadors of the charity. I would and do recommend that any parents of children with hearing loss should go along. We have had amazing adventures with the club and want to raise as much money as possible to say thank you for everything they do for us as a family.

About the charity

It helps and supports families with deaf children. It provides specially trained support workers - mothers of deaf children - to help families. It organises social events through the year including summer sports days and Christmas Parties to allow families to get together and support each other.
