Story
Last year, I was lucky enough to spend 6 weeks in rural Bolivia, building a 70m suspended footbridge. This July, I am traveling to ESwatini, in Africa, to help build another.
Being fresh out of school, any amount you can provide will make a big difference in helping me get to the other side of the world to build this bridge.
The EIA Bridge Program's mission is to empower today's volunteers to become tomorrow's global change-makers by building bridges with underserved communities. Since 2006 in our program, thousands of volunteers from 40+ universities and companies across the globe have designed and built 110+ footbridges alongside rural communities in 12 countries, effectively connecting over 150,000 previously isolated people to essential resources. Those numbers are continuing to grow this year! But it costs a lot money to build these bridges and our volunteers incur a lot of expenses while volunteering their time and expertise. Please consider joining our "Bridge Builder Family" by making a financial contribution today! When you do the math, you see that we can connect an isolated community member to essential resources for just $50. For just $50 you can help a child get to school, a pregnant mother reach the health clinic, or a hardworking parent sell their crops at the market.
