Story

Thank you for visiting our Star Trek midnight walk sponsorship page. At midnight on Saturday the 3rd July 2010, when some of you are tucked up in your bed or out socialising, our team will be walking through the streets of Romford. We start out from The Liberty shopping centre and will walk 10k (that’s 6 miles in ‘old money’) to finish back at The Liberty shopping centre. Spectators to cheer us on are most welcome.

We are walking to raise money for St Francis Hospice, who took such great care of ’s Mum during her last few days in September 2008 and for Michaela’s Granddad who passed away in October 2007. The care they offer is not just for the person who is sick, it extends to the family as well.

Some of the team did this walk last year and enjoyed it so much we are doing it again. It is a great event for a great cause so, please dig deep and sponsor us online – it is quick, easy and totally secure.

Gift Aid it!

If you are a taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating so that an extra 25%, plus a 3% supplement, can be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Every pound you donate really does make a difference – so please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
