They came, they saw, they sweated...lots!

Forget the World or Ryder Cup, the results of the biggest sporting event since Superstars are in and the pre-race predictions proved spookily accurate.

Five of the dogs enjoyed an ideal pre-race preparation by going out and drinking the night away in the bright lights of Peterborough and despite the host's attempts at pre-race sabotage through food poisoning, dead legs and dancing provocatively to Shakira, the 6 runners made it in one piece to the stadium, but not before a motivating cd of dog related tracks was listened to  - my personal fav being the theme tune to Dogtanian!

The pre-race tension was palpable and the runners entered the arena to a raptuous reception.
