This is a photo of me (Matthew Bosworth) and a close friend Joel Clyne.  He has just been diagnosed with Lymphoma and is undergoing the arduous task of Chemotherapy.  

As the millions of people worldwide suffer with this disease will tell you.  Losing your hair is when it all becomes real.  The change in physical appearance is a tough stage of the treatment.

Joels anxiety has sparked off the old saying 'a problem shared is a problem halved' so i've decided that on January 1st i'm going to take a trip to see Joel and he's going to be shaving my head.  

I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible between now and the start of the new year (2011), show support to Joel and his family and other close friends, but more importantly raise awareness about Cancer in general.

Statistically 1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives.  An incredibly scary statistic considering how many people we all know and love.

A shaved head by choice is nothing compared to losing hair against ones will.

Joel and I would appreciate literally any amount that you can donate to this worthy cause.  Or even any support you can offer by leaving a message.
