As some of you may already know, I am running the New York Marathon on the 2nd November 2008.  Apart from being a huge challenge, it's a great opportunity to raise money for charity.  I am running to support Macmillan - it is a fantastic charity and all your donations will definitely ease the pain of running 26.2miles!

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer.  The money raised will help provide practical and emotional support for people living with cancer. Help specialist Macmillan nurses and doctors, build vitally needed treatment centres and give financial help to those who need it most; and provide a range of cancer information both locally and nationally.
