On Sunday 26th April, in 18DegC of hot british weather, in a smelly sweaty hot london, I very proudly completed the last ever Flora London Marathon 2009 in 4hrs25mins42secs.  It was a great day, and the emotion I  felt throughout was totally un-describable with words. I have to say that adrenalin and sheer mental will and determination kept me going the last 3 miles, and the supporting crowds were amazing. 

I would like to say a big thankyou to all my supporters who came to watch and all the texts, emails facebook msgs, sponsors and encouragement that came my way. It was greatly welcomed and gave me that extra boost I needed to complete the run.

If anyone is wondering then yes, I would do it again, Tommy's is such a worthwhile cause that I would take up another challenge in a heartbeat. FYI I have begun looking into triathlons and buying a bike...but I need to recover from the marathon first lol.
