Hey everybody!

Firstly thank you for taking the time to come here and sponsor us, it means a lot to us knowing you are supporting us, and your generosity makes a big difference to the Unicef and their disaster relief efforts.

This will be our first ever marathon. Having previously ran some mid distance races we both felt that running a marathon would be a challenging and memorable way to mark 2010.

Training began back in January when the temperature hit -12 degrees and since then has been progressing well (minus a few problems with Dougie’s knee).

So on the 23rd May 2010 we'll be running 26.2 miles and we hope that with your support we can finish in a respectable time.
