Douglas was one of the most humble and servant-hearted people we have had the privilege of knowing. In short, he lived his life to better the lives of others. We, as a family, benefitted most from this and words cannot express how much we will miss him. 

International Justice Mission (IJM) is the largest international anti-slavery organisation in the world and partners with local authorities, both in the UK and overseas, to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors and strengthen justice systems.

Douglas had a heart for the work of IJM and lived out the following verse on a daily basis:

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
