We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Hello,

The cause

We're all running the Paris Marathon in April to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Like  us, I'm sure that Alzheimer's and/or dementia has effected someone you know.

The Alzheimer's Society is a great charity providing research, care and support for the thousands of people suffering from dementia, their families and friends, and their carers. However, it is relatively underfunded. Please dig deep and spare a few quid for a great cause - our fundraising target will make a great difference.

We have already covered the cost of the Marathon so 100% of your donation will go to the Alzheimer's Society.

The fun bit

We are open to fancy dress suggestions. Current options are:

Berets, stripey t-shirts, moustaches, baguettes and onions round our necks

Any reference to the 2012 Olympics

Boring but important

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Alzheimer's Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support - mont blanc!

Simon, Zoe, Greg, Rob, Jamie and Tarquin

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
