Story
I am undertaking a 10 day trek up (and hopefully down) Africas highest mountain, the Masai call it ‘Ngaje Ngai ‘The House of God’ - so I hope to grab a cuppa with the ‘big man’ himself around the beginning of November.
As per my last trek across Transylvania, this trip will be to raise monies for Sense International to support their work helping deafblind children and adults to make a difference in their lives. Communication and social skills develop in the first years of life for all children 'and as a new dad myself' - it is crucial that any child is given the best start in life from as early an age as possible. I will be jumping across chasms, battling lions and ensuring I have my brother at my side as we make Africas highest snowman on the summit.
… a wise man once said.. “it isn’t the mountain ahead that wears you out – it’s the grain of sand in your shoe”..
Anyway, donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sense International will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please donate now and make a difference in someones elses life as all donations are going straight to the charity, as i have covered all costs. Many thanks for your support.
