Durham Area Disability Leisure Group is a family focused charity.
Established in 1989, we have enjoyed a history of more than 30 years!
Our Mission Statement
‘To provide sports, leisure and social
opportunities for children and young people with disabilities and their immediate families, living within Durham and the surrounding areas.’
Our Aims
To meet the needs of the family as a whole enabling them to enjoy events together and with other like-minded people
To provide regular weekly activities
To provide a wide range of leisure opportunities during evenings, weekends and holidays
To provide events and activities for young people with disabilities from 0 to 25 years old and beyond
To provide activities and events at an affordable price
To provide a supportive network through our activities and events, website, newsletter and social media
To signpost families to appropriate services
