Every year Saphara sends several teams of volunteers to India to work in schools in areas of high deprivation. The charity believes that every child is of immense value and worth and that education is key to enabling disadvantaged youth to overcome poverty.

Saphara supports many of the children in these schools who live in marginalised communities with extremely poor living conditions; lack of hygiene and limited resources. As a result of the current pandemic, COVID-19, the children are more vulnerable now than ever. Additionally, fundraising in Northern Ireland has been postponed and therefore we are in greater need of support in order to help these children.
