Hi family and friends!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  By now you will all be aware that I recently took part in the 3 Peaks Challenge, in order to raise money for UNICEF.  The challenge involved climbing the peaks of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon over the course of three days in July.

Considering I struggle to walk up Guildford High Street let alone mountains, I knew that the task would not be an easy one, but I amazed us all by completing it (and without the assistance of an airlift ambulance - hooray!).

I took part in this fundraising event alongside 23 of my colleagues and it was an incredible experience which we will never forget.  For many of us it was the hardest we had ever had to physically exert ourselves, but well worth every penny for the charity that we were supporting.  In fact, it was such a great achievement that we are already planning a similar event for next year!

We were targeted to raise £1000 respectively and as you can see, I have now exceeded this amount - with your help of course.  However, I am able to continue fundraising until October and so any "late" sponsorship will definitely be welcomed!

Thank you to everyone for your wonderful support - your kind messages really spurred me on during the actual event and as I've now caught the fundraising bug I'll be sure to let you all know what charity I'm raising money for next year.
