Here is what put a smile on my face today:

It all started on a wedding day…

It had to be a special day to commit to such a crazy training… 3 months to be ready for 26.2 miles.  I have to thank Hester for being the inspiration. She invited me to join her for a weekend in Prague and casually added later a ‘by the way you are running the marathon with me this year’. Who could resist?

I can’t even blame my decision on alcohol, I was as sober as a judge.

London or Paris?  No! That would be too easy; I decided on Prague, more of an adventure…

To enter this race I don’t have to raise money for charity, but you, my friends, will recognise yourselves when I say that very precious people in our lives have recently fought or are currently fighting cancer. I decided therefore to dedicate my training to those people and raise money for Cancer Research.
