This walk started as a 50th year lark. I booked a self funded place and started my training with my partners in crime. Then I thought ....... I could raise a bit of money for something I really care about.

You may or may not know that I am a carrier for Cystic fibrosis: I lost my 11 year old sister at a young age to this life limiting genetic condition. Things have improved a lot for people with CF. Life expectancy is an average of 37 years old with many living much longer. But it is still a frightening, precarious and unpredictable condition to live with. I would like to do something in her memory to support people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families.
