Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
As some of you may know, Naif's two young nephews both suffer from childhood glaucoma. Childhood glaucoma affects 1 in every 10,000 children, leading to vision loss and blindness. Thankfully the prognosis for children diagnosed with this condition is improving thanks in no small part to the phenomenal work of Moorfields Eye Hospital. Professor Khaw and his team have been treating Eyad's sons Eddy and Hilmy for glaucoma since birth. Without their intervention, research and treatment therapies both children would have lost their sight.
With this in mind, a number of brave and/or foolhardy members of Euler Hermes' Birmingham sales and risk office teams have signed up to run the Bupa Manchester Great Run; a distance of 10K (or 6.2 miles for Imperial fans) on 18th May 2008.
The dream team is:
- Rob Farqhuarson - Marathon man.
- Naif Hanash - Salesman extraordinaire.
- Michelle Jones - Leading the sales charge.
- Mark Lambert - World's greatest dancer.
- Matt Lobb - Fashion icon.
- Jon Rio - Gym bunny.
- David Smith - Guiding force of the risk office.
- Matt Williams - Reformed pie eater.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Moorfields Eye Hospital Development Fund will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Professor Khaw and his team continue to save the sight of thousands in the UK and by supporting this charity you will be helping children with something that we all take for granted - the ability to see.
Many thanks for your support.
