We are a group of mums and teachers who are undertaking the not inconsiderable challenge of Tough Mudder in October 2018.  For those of you unfamiliar with the format, Tough Mudder is a 5k 'experience' where competitors wade through mud, clamber over walls, dive through ice cold water and get electrocuted.  Your reward at the end?  A beer, a medal and the satisfaction of surviving.

With a few notable exceptions who do this kind of thing for fun, the majority of our team members are more likely to be found lurking in a local bar supping a Negroni than rampaging round a muddy field.  But we wanted to a) challenge ourselves and b) do something for a fantastic cause in the lovely community we live and work in.

Little Village provides good quality baby clothes and kit, donated by local families, to families in need.  It's run as an entirely voluntary enterprise and aims to help those who need it most in a respectful, non-patronising, non-judgemental way.

‘It takes a village to raise a child’ is especially true in London where we often feel alone as parents. Little Village aims to create small, warm communities of families supporting one another, within an
intense, global city.  It offers a weekly drop-in service for families who need upport, a delivery service and a referrals-based service for our partners such as health visitors, Children’s Centres, midwives and the local foodbank.
