EYE FOR INDIA
Fundraising for Eye for India
Dear Friends & Family,
EYE FOR INDIA, associated with the Department of Optometry at City University London and the South Woodham Ferrers Rotary Club, is a charitable initiative set up by five Optometry graduates from City University London. EYE FOR INDIA aims to provide optometric care to those who would otherwise not have access to adequate medical care for ocular ailments. This year September 2010, we are visiting Basanti, Sunderban (100km Southeast of Calcutta) for a 2-week period. As our first project, we aim to conduct eye tests, give practical advice and education and dispense refractive corrections to 1,000 underprivileged patients. We are asking for your donationWe have made arrangements with a local manufacturer for the supply of 2,000 pairs of single vision spectacles. With every £2 raised, we can purchase a pair of spectacles to help improve an individual’s life
Thank you for your support
