Hello all,
On September 13th 2010 we will be taking part in a gruelling challenge - The 3 Peaks Challenge.
We will start our challenge in Scotland by climbing Ben Nevis followed by Scafell Pike, Lake District and then on to Snowdon in Wales. Easy you may say to yourself, but, there is a catch. We have to complete this challenge within 24 hours and that includes all the driving from mountain to mountain!
Our chosen charity is Children with Leukaemia. We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic organisation which continues to help the children of our country through this terrible illness, so please dig as deep as you can. We are currently in training and have completed a few long walks and climbed Scafell last weekend, we did get lost though which doesn't bode well, I don't think we will let Charlie lead next time! We will be taking on Snowdon in the forthcoming weeks so will update you on how that goes.
Anyway, thanks in advance for your generosity. We all appreciate that they are tough times financially out there at the moment but if you could donate absolutely anything we would all be extremely grateful.
