We run the largest open access services to support people affected by homelessness

Story

We are joining the 2.6 Challenge as a family to raise money for Glass Door which is both a Weil office charity and one which Cam and I have supported in Richmond.  Having spent a lot of time playing table tennis and rowing (well, some of us have been rowing) since lock down, these activities seemed very appropriate.

Glass Door runs London’s largest emergency winter night shelter network, providing a safe, warm place to sleep for up to 170 men and women a night in partnership with churches across West London. Year-round, men and women with nowhere else to turn can find drop-in centres during the day and the support they need to end their homelessness. Glass Door night shelters save lives, and the support services help change lives.

Glass Door coordinates the UK’s largest network of open-access services for people affected by homelessness. Year round we provide support and hope, so people can get off, and stay off the streets. Our vision is a world where no one has to sleep on the streets of London.
