We Support Vulnerable Children in Kenya to Break the cycle of poverty holistically

Story

This is a one off!  Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On July 11th 2010 at 9.35am, I shall be running 10K through the streets of London to raise money for The Nasio Trust. The Nasio Trust is a local Oxfordshire charity which looks after the living and education expenses for AIDs orphans in Kenya. Any money rasied will go straight ot the children who need it most.

I know the founder, Nancy Hunt, well and was moved by the work the Nasio Trust do and by her own personal commitment. As a family we sponsor a little boy called Rusell and Kathryn loves to receive his letters and hear how he enjoys his schooling.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Nasio Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now! Just £1.00 will make all the difference.

Many, many thanks

Fiona

The Nasio Trust is a UK registered charity and Kenyan NGO which supports orphaned and vulnerable children and empowers communities to break the cycle of poverty. Established over 20 years ago, our community-based approach is aimed at providing a holistic solution to tackling the root causes of poverty through education, healthcare, psychosocial support, food security and income generation. Our Philosophy. We believe children should not grow up in institutions like orphanages, where they are isolated from society because of poverty, sickness, disease or death of parents. Children should live in a loving family with dignity without being stigmatised by the cause of their vulnerability.
