Their goal
To raise £50,000 for their global animal conservation projects in response to a fire that devastated a vital conservation enclosure.
Their solution
Chester Zoo acted fast. Within hours of a fire ripping through their Monsoon Forest enclosure, they set up a Campaign on JustGiving and started sharing it far and wide. Using our social notifications, their opt-ed in supporters were notified of this new Campaign and had the opportunity to quickly donate, share or even fundraise in response.
Their success
They raised a massive £148,140.63 (+ £29,771.59 in Gift Aid) with an additional 33 fundraisers asking for donations. The Campaign page gave their supporters a single place in which to donate, send messages of support and fundraise and offered a quick and easy communication tool for the charity, who could upload videos and amplify their story.
