Story
Hey Everyone!
I’m excited/terrified to say that this year I’m running the London Marathon for Child Action, an incredible organisation working to provide educational opportunities for children living in some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities in India.
Ive got to raise a minimum of £2,000 and I need your help!
No child should have to live and work on a rubbish tip, yet children as young as five years old can be found working long, laborious days in some of the most world’s most hostile and dangerous environments, when they should be safe in school with their teachers and friends.
I’m really impressed with Child Action because they work with local country partners in India who have a deepened understanding of the social context and need – which means they can really be there for these children, taking them away from the dumping grounds so that they’re free to learn, play and enjoy their childhoods.
My training has already started and it’s killing me, as per usual i've chronically under-estimated how hard this is going to be! Any amount you can donate will make all the suffering worthwhile, not to mention the transformational impact it will have on the lives of children who I’m determined to help receive their basic right to an education.
Thanks so much for reading,
Ben
