Story

UPDATE.......WE DID IT!!!!!!!!

Russell completed the Marathon in a very respectable 4:33:17 - superstar!  As for me, well I finished and have the medal to prove it.  I only ever said I would finish and I did, time is not important but I beat the lorry that cleans the streets - all be it that they were starting to take down the grandstands, but I still finished.  Thanks to all for your support, it is greatly appreciated xxx

This is it then....the London Marathon 2008.

When I lost my husband Mark last year I wanted to focus my grief on trying to help others and we had always promised each other we would 'run' the London Marathon together.  I'm honouring that promise and in the process trying to raise funds for our chosen charity, Scottish Huntington's Association.

Our friend Russell is participating with me, notice I have not said running!, and everything that we are doing is in memory of my beautiful husband Mark.

Scottish Huntington's Association needs donations to continue to provide their excellent service and you can donate as little as £2 through this site, or indeed as much as you would like.

13th April 2008 would also have been Mark's 37th birthday, please help me to make it a birthday to celebrate.

Thanks you so much for visiting this page and your donation.

Big Love
