Target raised (yet) again - now £5,000!!
I'm doing the Marathon because my friend has ovarian cancer. It's horrid. One can only imagine what she has had to go through with all the operations, pain, treatment and trepidation that goes with it. It's also horrid seeing the suffering her husband and two young children are going through. However the one thing that isn't horrid is the level of care she is getting from Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood, Middlesex.
The Cancer Treatment And Research Trust funds research at Mount Vernon where they are developing new drugs that attack the blood vessels that supply cancers. My aim is to help fund this vital work.
