Story

In February 2009 my Nan Lyn died from an illness called bowel cancer, my footballing hero Bobby Moore also died from the same illness.

When my Nanny died I decided I wanted to do something special in her memory and to save other people from dying of bowel cancer too.

Every February around their anniversary I complete a long charity walk, people come from around the world to walk with me.  Lots of people send me angel names, people they have lost to cancer too.  I put all of the names on my challenge shirt and walk in their memory and honour.  So far I have walked completed almost 1000 miles for over 500 angels.  I also arrange lots of other events to raise funds and awareness for The Bobby Moore Fund.

I have not set a target for my fund raising because I want to raise as much as I can and keep going ...... my target is a cure.

You can find out lots about me on my website www.fornannyandbobby.com or you can follow me on Twitter www.twitter.com/jonjoheuerman or Facebook

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to my Jumping for Moore 2015 team who have helped raised just over £9200 for The Bobby Moore Fund for CRUK

I have recently taken my total over £200,000 and I am really proud. I don't have a fundraising target because my target is a cure. I really hope that in 2016 I can fund an entire bowel cancer research project through some very special events for 50th anniversary of 1966

Thank you to my Justgiving abseil team and everyone who donated. We raised over £20,000 from my abseil event.

I am busy organising my charity abseil and my Justgiving team is doing great. I have other events planned and I am really hoping that I can get my fundraising total to £200,000 very soon.
