As part of my preparation for a 70.3 Ironman in September I will be taking part in a 160km cycle in Lincolnshire in June as well as a Sprint Triathlon in July and raising money for Friends of Ashmount, a school for special needs children from ages 4-19 based in the East Midlands, uk.

I will be hoping to raise even more for them and other similar charities both in the UK and overseas as part of future events.

These causes are very close to my heart with my youngest child being special needs and seeing all the great work so many teachers, careers and volunteers do for her and thousands of children each and every day is both heart warming an inspiring.
