Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 25th July I will be riding indoors on Zwift for 12 hours, aiming to set a new (unofficial) record for the greatest virtual distance cycled in 12 hours. For those unfamiliar, Zwift is an online platform which will allow me to cycle and interact with fellow cyclists in a virtual world. Drafting is allowed, and I will choose the fastest bike and flattest course. I will be going nowhere fast!

For fun (and motivation) I welcome you to guess the distance that I will cycle, which you can put in your donation message. The person who guesses closest to the final distance will be awarded with a £50 Attacus voucher to treat themselves or someone else to some of the finest cycling apparel.

This ride will be in memory of my mum, who very sadly passed away last year after a battle with Multiple System Atrophy. A day doesn't go by when I don't think of her. She always supported me in my cycling endeavours however bonkers they were. Sitting on an indoor turbo for 12 hour is fairly bonkers, but I'm sure she'll love it. 

The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the UK and the Republic of Ireland’s leading charity supporting people affected by multiple system atrophy (MSA) – a rare neurological disease with no known cause or cure. The MSA does amazing work in providing support to those affected by this disease, including specialist support nurses, support groups and research into the cause of and, one day, cure for MSA. The trust relies entirely on the generosity of it supporters.
