Citi are aiming to raise £350,000 to enable Guide Dogs to create 178 life-changing partnerships. With our support, Guide Dogs will match people with sight loss on the London waiting list to guide dogs or volunteer sighted guides.

This October, Citi colleagues are coming together to take on a 178 challenge to raise vital funds for people living with sight loss in London. To support this effort I will be running 178k (equivalent to more than 4 marathons) during the month....and attempting to shift approximately 17.8kg gained during lockdown.

Losing your sight shouldn't also mean losing your independence, confidence and freedom, but unfortunately, our world is a tough place when you cant see. In the UK, there are 360,000 people who are blind or partially sighted and half of them do not leave their homes alone.
