Story

Once again Lana & I plus a group of wonderful friends are taking on Ben Nevis for St Andrew's Hospice to help raise money and awareness in the name of my mum Mary Trott who spent her last few weeks with St Andrew's and we can't thank them enough for the care they gave her and the support they gave me and the family.

Last year as part of our 2017 Challenge 10 peaks were tackled and I brought my number of Munros completed up to 7, this year I plan to push myself ever further and as well scaling more Munros & other peaks I want to complete The Ben in record time (beating my record not a world record )

St. Andrew’s Hospice endeavours to provide a high standard of specialist palliative care to the people of Lanarkshire, encompassing human dignity and compassion. As Lanarkshire's only specialist palliative care hospice, we provide multidisciplinary support for our patients, their families and carers. Whilst we receive funding from NHS Lanarkshire and other sources, this only partially covers our running costs. Continued provision of these services is only made possible by the generosity and assistance of the people of Lanarkshire.

About the charity
