Story
To celebrate Cathouse Rock Club's 30th year, we intend to raise over £30,000 for charity.
From 16th January - 15th February, we are focusing on Epilepsy Scotland. For the last 65 years, they have strived to end the stigma and discrimination associated with epilepsy, a common, serious neurological condition.
To kickstart our efforts Cathouse set up a silent auction where the winning bidder will receive 4 tickets to see American heavy metal band, Slipknot at the SSE Hydro this Saturday.
As of tomorrow, Cathouse will charge our guestlist users a £1 charity donation every Cathouse Friday. Their sister club, The Garage will follow suit, asking for a donation every #Tag Tuesday until their big birthday bash.
We in head office - Hold Fast Entertainment - are taking part, having signed up to Epilepsy Scotland's Firewalk Challenge on Burns Day, Saturday 25th January. In line with their #Challenge65, we will cross 65 feet over burning coals whilst raising funds for their charity.
At Cathouse Saturday, on the 1st February, Cathouse will run a 50/50 raffle. 50% of the money raised will become a prize for one lucky winner, leaving the other 50% for Epilepsy Scotland.
We would love as many people as possible to get involved and help smash our target!
