We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

For the past 2 years, a few of us have been stupid enough to cycle round all 33 London Boroughs in one day, a distance of just over 100 miles, to raise money for Crohns and Colitis UK

This year we're doing it again, and there'll be even more of us.  The ride is in memory of the irreplaceable Jim Fletcher, who passed away nearly 2 years ago

Jim meant a huge amount to everyone who knew him, and I was lucky enough to have him as a friend since secondary school.  His humour, generosity, kindness, intimate knowledge of Cricket and Rugby and cooking skills will be missed by us all.  The first year's ride was in fact the last time I saw Jim up and about before he went into hospital, when he provided us all with much needed sustenance about 1/2 way round the route.

We're riding on Saturday the 13th April, and the route is just over 100 miles, around everything London has to offer, from grotty industrial estates to canal tow paths, from Tourist Attractions to unknown back streets.  We'll be finishing up at The Feathers in Westminster some time after 4, so do come and join us to see us over the finishing line.  If for some strange reason you feel like punishing yourself and joining in, do get in touch.

And please, donate what you can, and tell everyone you know!
