Team Luca is a family fund set up by Joanne and Pedro Fernandes for their son Luca who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy

Story

Four friends, bound together by a love of catering and playing eye spy on long car journeys have accepted a tough physical challenge.

On May 4th we are attempting the to climb the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in a 24 hour period for Team Luca and Muscular Dystrophy UK.

The team comprises of Lawrence Alexander, Rob Cook, Sam Lambert and our trusty driver Dan Holt.

Sam and Dan are both Chefs and have promised to knock up some local, responsibly sourced, seasonal dishes to keep us going. I'm hoping that the gout doesn't set in as that could hamper our progress!!

Myself and Loz would also like to remind everyone that behind every acclaimed mountaineer was a team of hard working porters!

We have all known Pedro for years through the cruel mistress that is event catering. We have been impressed and inspired by his family's story and wanted to do something to help.

We realise times are hard but would be really grateful if you could support us in this endeavour.

We promise you plenty of blisters, petty map related arguments and car based snoring in return (soz Dan).

Thanks everyone,

Rob, Dan, Loz and Sam
