Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This page has been set up to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is something that sadly, everyone is likely to come into contact with at some time in their life. Whether that be personally, in Family members or friends.
As a family, we have recently lost two very special people, both directly and indirectly, to Cancer. Amy & Eric Dolphin, enriched the lives of many for 9 decades and will continue to do so for many more as we share our memories with our children and our children's children.
Despite their long, independent lives, we feel that it is only right that we seek to raise money in their name to improve the quality of life, the chance of ongoing life and the opportunity of curing this indiscriminate disease.
We would also like to pay special thanks to an inspirational family friend who is battling a rare form of ovarian cancer and doing it with grace, strength and heart.
It is our hope that the donations received from our friends, family, colleagues, acquaintances and strangers may be the very ones that aide the incredible researchers in finding the missing pieces of the puzzle to beat Cancer.
