Story
We are taking part in four crazy challenges "4 4 4 Challenge" all in aid of helping recipients and donors attend the British Transplant Games 2023 in Coventry.
Jo- Renal Transplant support worker
Ann-Marie- Renal Transplant support worker
Debbie- Liver Transplant support worker
Gayle- Liver Transplant support worker
We are 4 normal (maybe a bit nuts) support workers that are taking on 4 crazy challenges to raise awareness and funds for The British Transplant Games 2023.
We hope to raise enough funds to help with some of the financial burdens that could potentially see transplant recipients and donors from attending the 2023 games in Coventry.
It came to our attention that there were quite a few recipients that wanted to take part in the games this year in Leeds, but the cost of travel and accommodation saw them unable to partake. We would like to help towards these costings to give everyone the chance to partake.
We are therefore raising funds to help towards the cost of the 2023 games to ensure that everyone is included.
The British Transplant Games participants all have one thing in common TRANSPLANT. The games see organ recipients, live organ donors and also deceased organ donors family/friends partaking together in celebration of Organ Donation. This event is always a fantastic atmosphere, comradery and celebration for everyone involved, the togetherness and sportsmanship of all involved is something truly special.
So what 4 challenges will we face:
Down the Chimney Abseil on the 17th December 2022 (in our matching Christmas pyjamas)
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks on the 29th April 2023
Total Warrior on the 1st July 2023
and the GRAND FINALE!!!
A SKYDIVE!!! On 8th July 2023
We are pushing ourselves to our limits to raise as much as possible for these amazing people, so please support if you can.
