Fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust
Story
Mide Segun of the Vipers was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma following the 2017/18 season. After a summer of treatment, he was given the all clear to return to university and play football for the Vipers this season. In December 2018, after playing 4 games of the season, Mide relapsed and restarted chemotherapy. We are raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust who have supported Mide in his fight with cancer.

We are standing alongside the Canterbury Christchurch Chargers in our support of Teenage Cancer Trust, as they support their teammate Joe Waller in his fight against a rare soft tissue cancer.

Joe and Mide are inspirations to both teams. The strength they continually display in their fight motivates both teams to pay something back to the charity that has supported our brothers. With the support of our joint communities, we can make a difference.
