Foodbank is the largest and most trusted food relief organisation, providing food assistance to individuals and families across NSW and the ACT. 1 in 3 households in NSW & ACT went hungry in the last 12 months. Foodbank NSW & ACT distributes to 700 Community Partners and 726 schools.

Story

Lockdown sucks, but I count myself as one of the lucky ones. I really feel for people who can’t operate their small business, are unable to work/ have reduced hours or can’t get government support.

As we hit 70 days of lockdown and battle this once in a lifetime challenge together, I’ve decided to ride via Zwift, 70km a day for 7 days - the approx. distance from Sydney airport to Wollongong.

This is by far and away more km than a little battler like myself has ever ridden, but I do it with the hope of raising money for
Foodbank.

Foodbank is facing a huge surge in demand for crisis support from people going without food.
Any donation of any amount will be appreciated - and your donation will be used to:

  • $35 will provide an emergency hamper to a person in need.
  • $70 will ensure families in crisis have access to emergency food staples.
  • $140 will help Foodbank get critical supplies to communities in need.

You’ll be able to track if I’m sticking to my end of the bargain via

So please chuck us a few dollars if you can - you’ll feel good and more people will get fed !
