Hello folks & thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As the title states, I am off for a 'wee' run to raise some money for a good cause. My chosen charity is Children First Derby (CFD) who are a local charity supporting disadvantaged young people and families in the Derby area.

As a mentor and Trustee at the charity  (and someone who needs to lose their Christmas spread), I figured that it was only right that I join the rest of the CFD team in their quest to raise funds and awareness, by running 13 miles around Derby, come wind, rain or shine. I cannot guarentee a decent time, but I can guarantee that every penny you donate will positively impact someones life!

The charity  struggles to fund it's activities, so literally every penny counts towards the provision of valuable services, (in part to fill gaps left by recent local authority budget cuts). Please read more about the charity and its core objectives at www.childrenfirstderby.co.uk.
