On 26th May 2017, as a member of the Hockey for Heroes Team,
we will be attempting our greatest challenge yet! 

During the 200 mile hike, as a relay, we will also rotate the duties
of carrying an ex-serviceman, Dom - a former Marine, Navy and Combined Services
Hockey representative, on a stretcher.   Not forgetting the
mere challenge of playing 30 hockey matches over the 10 days as
well.

The squad will start the journey at the Welsh Centre for Sport in
Cardiff to the National Hockey Stadium at the Olympic Park (Lee Valley,
London) on the 4th June 2017.  Matches will also be played matches along
the way, at various Clubs’ venues. 

There are so many military personnel that dedicate their lives
for the protection of our country.  Of the incredible individuals that have
served in the British Armed Forces, many return with injuries or illness.
