In memory of Rory Holloran
We fund research into childhood cancer to save and improve young lives

Story

I am a pet and people portrait artist and I have had the honour and privilege of drawing an amazing little boy. He truly is a hero and this is his story:
Rory Holloran would have been five years old on 26th August 2020. He spent time in John Radcliffe Hospital Oxfordshire, GWH Swindon and his last months in Charlton Farm Children’s Hospice in Bristol where he sadly passed shortly before his fifth birthday. He had wonderfully supportive NHS staff visiting daily. He amazingly fought his battle against Leukaemia so so bravely for two and a half years but in the end Rory lost his fight and passed due to many viruses and a massive breakdown of antibodies.
I had originally vowed that I wouldn't cut my beard until the Coronavirus threat had gone away but as it looked like I would then end up tripping over it I changed that to after I get my second vaccine and I have had my two jabs now so it would be wonderful if you could donate something, anything, to Children with Cancer UK in Rory’s memory. Thank you, Alan x
