Story
It’s ok not to be ok. Awareness of mental health problems has come a long way in recent years however much more needs to be done.
We are running the Plymouth Half Marathon (our first!) in May in support of Mind after close friends and family have used, and continue to use their services. We have seen first hand the courage that is required for someone to speak out and seek help. Mind empower people to understand their condition and the choices available to them. They are helping to remove the stigma associated with mental health and to get people talking openly about how they feel.
We’re proud of those who we know that are continuing to battle with their problems and are making progress in their fight, every single day. Mind have been an integral part of this and it is important that they are supported to ensure more people can benefit from their fantastic support.
We are hoping to raise £300 for Mind and hope that you will be willing to support our efforts and contribute towards a great charity that are saving lives.
Thanks - Alex & Amy
